With an extremely ambitious front office and a fearless owner, a CJ McCollum arrival in Dallas could be on the brink. It has been said that the Mavericks would like to add a third star to their lineup and McCollum would fit the bill perfectly.

Luka Doncic is the cornerstone of the Mavericks’ franchise. Dallas made a deal with the New York Knicks for Kristaps Porzingis at the beginning of the calendar year. This gives them a dynamic duo and they were able to land the 7th seed in the playoffs.

Dallas ended up taking the Los Angeles Clippers to six games. Adding McCollum would solidify their backcourt and give them a chance to move closer to the top of the West.

If there is one NBA team that everyone should be rooting for, it’s the Mavericks. Doncic has quickly turned into a superstar and will eventually be one of the best players in the league. We need to keep the Mavericks relevant for a long time.
