Miami was able to get past Boston in the conference finals and clinch a trip back to the NBA Championship, and it was against the play that last took them there. LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers took care of the Heat in six games with little drama. The foundation has been set.
Jimmy Butler is a true leader and playmaker down the stretch of games. Bam Adebayo is turning into an elite big man and Tyler Herro is looking like a promising young player.
Making a deal for McCollum would give the Heat more star power and shooting ability of CJ McCollum the perimeter. This is a deal to keep the Heat as championship contenders heading into next NBA season.
