Making the Case: Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets have been super aggressive over the years and that continued this season.
It became obvious early on that Harden was not going to last in Brooklyn. The Nets ended up pulling off a deal that brought Ben Simmons to town, but we have no idea if this is going to work just yet.
Even if Simmons is able to come back and produce, it will not be in the backcourt. He has a nonexistent jump shot and struggles to score the ball at a consistent rate — meaning the Nets could benefit from looking for another backcourt talent.
Kyrie Irving is as good as it gets at the top of the offense and there should not be any underlying problems next season. If Brogdon were to come to town, Brooklyn will create a backcourt tandem that complements each other well.

Brogdon has the ability to score and can handle the ball in the half-court. He is not a ball-dominant guard but knows how to play his role well on both ends. However, he’s proven to be capable of making plays when needed. Overall, he’d be a great player to have with Irving and Kevin Durant.
The Nets are a franchise that is considered one of the best in the NBA ahead of the 2022-23 season. It’s important they make the most of their roster to capitalize on it.
