Making the Case: Indiana Pacers
After two consecutive seasons near the bottom of the Eastern Conference, it is clear that the Pacers are heading toward a rebuild. Moving Domantas Sabonis only solidified that notion.
There is still plenty of work to be done by the front office. Myles Turner has been in trade rumors for over a year now but nothing has been done. Brogdon is in the same boat and both could be on the move if the Pacers find trade partners.
The Nets might lineup well for either one because of the return they would be able to give. Harris continues to be one of the best shooters in the league.
Despite playing just blank games this season, Harris shot blank percent from deep. Mills and Thomas are strong guards to put in the backcourt.

Thomas showed that he can score the ball, which was his scouting report coming out of college. When Irving and Durant were sidelined, Thomas stepped in and produced well. He would have a chance to improve his game further in an extended role with the Pacers.
This is a beneficial deal to Indiana because it gives them some pieces for the future and also clears big contracts.
