Washington Wizards
Trading for Kristaps Porzingis at the trade deadline gives the Washington Wizards another high-level, star-like talent to pair alongside Bradley Beal next season, but in order to keep Beal long-term, the Wizards will need to prove that they are willing to add more talent to their roster in order to build themselves into a playoff-contending team in the Eastern Conference.
Pistons’ forward Jerami Grant could be a player the Wizards look to pursue in the offseason, as could Buddy Hield given their need for perimeter shooting.
Adding another All-Star-like talent could drastically change the Washington Wizards for the better, but their biggest problem right now is that their secondary talents are too inconsistent and not very productive.
Kyle Kuzma and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope have stepped up this season, but a vast majority of the rest of the Wizards core is made up of young talents still looking to find their footing in the league.

Buddy Hield is an experienced offensive weapon that can fill multiple different roles for the Wizards, as well as be their primary three-point shooting option on the wing.
He would be an upgrade from Caldwell-Pope, should the Washington Wizards look to move the veteran in the offseason, and would complement the play of Beal, Kuzma, and Porzingis nicely since all three current Washington players have the ability to extend the floor.
