The Pacers and Kings made headlines at the NBA trade deadline this season when they made a six-player deal involving the likes of Domantas Sabonis, Tyrese Haliburton, and Buddy Hield.
Indiana sent All-Star Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, and Jeremy Lamb to Sacramento in exchange for Tyrese Haliburton, Tristan Thompson, who was waived, and sharpshooter Buddy Hield.
Since joining the Pacers, Buddy Hield has played really well on the offensive end of the floor and has proven that he can be a lot more than just a spot-up three-point shooter.
In 18 games with the Pacers, Hield has averaged 18.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and has shot 44.3% from the floor. He is only shooting 34.7% from three-point range in Indiana, but Buddy Hield is proving his worth entering the offseason.

The Pacers have made their intentions of not going through a rebuild clear, but this does not mean that they will not be flipping assets left and right in the offseason to build around Tyrese Haliburton and some of their other young players.
Buddy Hield was one of the best bench scorers in the league with the Sacramento Kings and now expanding his offensive game with the Indiana Pacers, he could carry a ton of value heading into the offseason for multiple playoff-contending/hopeful teams.
