The Golden State Warriors are arguably the best teams in the NBA at the start of the 2021-22 season. They have the best record in the league at 8-1 with their only loss coming against the Memphis Grizzlies in a three-point loss in overtime.
The Warriors currently have the best point differential in the NBA at +13.7 as they are running opposing teams off the court with regularity. Steve Kerr has to be pleased with how well his team is playing on both ends of the court as they are finding their footing offensively while already having a great defense.
After starting the season with three of their first four games on the road, Golden State is in the midst of an eight-game homestand. It started off on the wrong foot with the loss to the Grizzlies, but they have won every other game by at least 13 points.
With such dominant victories to begin the season, there are some people that believe the Warriors could be legitimate title contenders this season. After missing the playoffs for two straight years, Golden State looks ready to crash the playoff picture again as one of the strongest teams in the league.
