3. Improved Supporting Cast
There have been times in the last few seasons, given the injuries the Golden State Warriors have had to endure, that it has been the Stephen Curry solo show in the Bay Area. He wasn’t receiving much help from his teammates and was carrying the team by himself.
Looking to change that, Bob Myers sought to improve the depth of the team. He signed numerous veterans in Otto Porter Jr., Nemanja Bjelica and Andre Iguodala returned to the fold as well.
They have provided the Warriors, especially their second unit, with some much-needed stability. Other players who have been with the team for a few seasons are also stepping up more now than they have in the past.
Jordan Poole is currently second on the team in points, scoring 18.4 per game. Damion Lee is averaging 12 points per game off the bench and both are career-highs. Gary Payton II has been great in a growing role as the backup point guard and Steve Kerr has plenty of confidence in Juan Toscano-Anderson as well.

Receiving contributions from up and down the roster makes Golden State that much more difficult to defeat. If teams key in on slowing down Curry and other players step up, the Warriors are going to continue winning a lot of games.
