New York Knicks Receive: G Kemba Walker
Oklahoma City Thunder Receive: F Obi Toppin, F Kevin Knox, 2021 first-round pick (No. 19 overall)
With the No. 8 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, the New York Knicks took Obi Toppin out of Dayton, giving them an athletic forward to develop. In his rookie season, Toppin would see limited playing time due to playing the same position as Julius Randle.
So as long as Randle remains a member of the Knicks, Toppin’s role in New York is going to be severely capped. Provided that, the Knicks could send Toppin to the Thunder as part of the package that could land them Walker.
Besides Toppin, New York could include another upside player in Kevin Knox, who would need to have his team option picked up before being inserted in the trade.
Despite being drafted two years before Toppin, Knox is almost two years younger than his counterpart.

The one thing that the Knicks would need to include in the trade for Sam Presti to even consider picking up the phone is a first-round pick, which would be New York’s first of two first-round picks in this year’s draft.
