Portland Trail Blazers
Whatever the Portland Trail Blazers decide to do this offseason, every move has to be made to please Damian Lillard. After firing Terry Stotts, Portland is on shaky ground, and there are unquestionably changes on the horizon.
There are going to be teams who inquire about Lillard, but the Trail Blazers would be wise to neglect any offer that doesn’t get them a ransom.
With Lillard being the main piece to build around, getting someone like Pascal Siakam could fix a ton of Portland’s woes on both sides of the court. First and foremost, the Trail Blazers have struggled at both forward spots for quite some time.
In the scenario that Portland gets Siakam, they could have Siakam play the three while Robert Covington remains at the four spot. Or the Trail Blazers could elect to re-sign Norman Powell and have Siakam play his natural position of power forward.
