Golden State Warriors
The Golden State Warriors are in peculiar spot entering the offseason. Following two straight years of missing the playoffs, the Warriors are attempting to play both sides of the win-now and build for the future approach.
It hasn’t panned out thus far, even though the absence of Klay Thompson in the past two seasons hasn’t helped in the slightest.
Do the Warriors hold onto their hopes that James Wiseman and Andrew Wiggins become stars sooner rather than later? Or does Golden State realize that their window of opportunity to win with Stephen Curry, Thompson, and Draymond Green is rapidly closing?
If the Warriors elect to take a win-now approach, then Pascal Siakam makes a ton of sense for a variety of reasons. Siakam is a forward that is capable of handling the ball at either forward spot and he plays stout defense. Pairing him with Green in the front court could work wonders for the spacing in Golden State’s offense.

While Siakam made only 33.9 percent of his wide-open threes (no defender within six-plus feet when he shot), he would get the most wide-open looks he’s ever seen in his career on the Warriors.
