Instead, he could be competing for a title alongside Doncic on the Mavericks, forming one of the league’s best duos.

Landing Beal in a trade would be a home-run for Mark Cuban and company, and it would likely convince Doncic to remain a member of the organization long-term. In the Western Conference, a duo of Beal and Doncic likely wouldn’t be enough to seize the throne.
