Does this trade make sense for the Chicago Bulls?
Given how the Bulls’ contracts right now are set up, they could definitely make this trade with the intent of keeping Collin Sexton long-term on a $100M+ contract. The only possible problem that arises though with the Bulls is that they would have Sexton, LaVine and Vucevic all with big contracts, limiting their opportunities to bring in other key players.

Looking at a possible core of Sexton, LaVine and Vucevic though is definitely an intriguing thought for the Bulls and with Patrick Williams also under contract long-term, the Bulls would have an athletic, young core that they could build around.
Collin Sexton is a much better offensive threat than Coby White and with the Bulls really needing to solidify things at the point guard position, this could be a move that secures that position for years to come.
Running in transition with Sexton and LaVine, the Bulls would be a very dangerous team to play against given how athletic and fast these two guys are. With the guys currently on their roster, the Bulls are scheduled to have close to $50M in cap space next offseason, which is why they could afford to bring in Collin Sexton with the intent to sign him long-term.
