Denver Nuggets Receive: Andrew Wiggins

Golden State Warriors Receive: Will Barton, Gary Harris

The Golden State Warriors have some intriguing pieces on the perimeter such as Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. Neither one fit into their game plan given the lack of ability from three-point range.

Both Kelly Oubre Jr. and Andrew Wiggins can be used as trade pieces for the Warriors at some point if that’s the route the team intended to take. However, in this particular deal, Wiggins would be the one going to Denver.

In return, Golden State could acquire two guards used to playing a secondary role. They are Will Barton and Gary Harris. Both players will complement Steph Curry well on the perimeter and give the Warriors some more threats from deep.

Let’s take a closer look and see how this deal with benefit both the Denver Nuggets and Golden State Warriors during the 2020-21 NBA season.
