1. Brooklyn Nets
If James Harden really wants to go to the Brooklyn Nets, then the Houston Rockets should pull the trigger on the deal. Yes, it would create a big three ready to win but Houston would be sending Harden out of the Western Conference and would be able to get a huge return.
Houston might want Kyrie Irving or Kevin Durant in a deal for Harden. This is expected to be put on the table but unlikely that the Nets will do this. Even without, Brooklyn has assets to send Houston.
Players like Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen, and Taurean Prince are major trade pieces for the Nets this offseason. The Nets finally have draft capital moving forward and are no longer handcuffed by the awful trade they made for Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett.
If the Nets offer LeVert, Dinwiddie, Allen, and three or four first-round picks, it would be hard to turn down. This is a franchise ready to win this season so they will be willing to give up major assets for a championship. Houston could cash in and take advantage of this deal.
