Well, it’s official. James Harden reportedly wants out of Houston. The Rockets have been in talks about facilitating a potential deal during the days leading up to the 2020 NBA Draft.
The rumors began a few weeks back but it was confirmed over the weekend. Harden has not hidden the fact that he would like to be trade and has one destination on his mind — the Brooklyn Nets. This would create a big three of Harden, Kevin Durant, and Kyrie Irving.
The Rockets’ experiment of Harden and Russell Westbrook did not work. Westbrook was the player expected to be dealt and now, the team might have to send both superstars away. Stephen Silas is the new head coach and could be heading towards a quick rebuild of the roster with the returns he would get from these two huge names.
When looking at trades for Harden, there have been a few teams mentioned as real possibilities. Let’s take a look at which teams would be able to put together the best package for the Rockets in a trade.
