4. Minnesota Timberwolves
Karl-Anthony Towns is looking to play on a winning team and right now, that is not the Minnesota Timberwolves. This has caused some unhappy feelings. D’Angelo Russell and Towns will be joined by the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, but the Timberwolves could give it up for James Harden.
In massive trade talks, the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft is always an exciting thing to discuss. The Wolves like Anthony Edwards and could use the pick on him if they keep it. If they want to create a duo of Harden and Towns, it could be sent to Houston.
Along with the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Minnesota could trade Russell, Jarrett Culver, and Josh Okogie for Harden. They are a team in complete rebuild mode and have been for years now. Harden would speed up the process and bring some more excitement to Minnesota.
The trade rumors surrounding Towns have been silenced over time. Now, it is time to think about if the Wolves will go the other way and bring a superstar to town.
