This is an unrealistic destination for James Harden but let’s have fun with the return that the Houston Rockets could get from the Denver Nuggets. They are a team coming off a Western Conference Finals’ appearance and got a chance to see how far behind the Los Angeles Lakers they truly are. This could force the front office to add another star.

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray have quickly become one of the best duos in the league. Aside from draft picks, this deal would have to be centered around Michael Porter Jr., who has the potential to become a star in the league.

Gary Harris, if he can remain healthy, is another valuable trade piece for the Nuggets. Porter Jr., Harris, and Will Barton could be the players involved along with draft picks to acquire Harden.

Denver has not been mentioned much in trade talks but when putting together a package, they have to be near the top when discussing the best returns for Houston.
