This Bucks-Warriors trade creatively pairs Giannis with Curry, Thompson

Golden State Warriors Receive: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Brook Lopez

Milwaukee Bucks Receive: Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, No. 2 pick, 2021 1rst round pick (via MIN), 2022 1st round pick, 2025 1st round pick

At minimum in a trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Golden State Warriors would need the Milwaukee Bucks to take on Andrew Wiggins’ contract. By including Green as well, Golden State would make room to take on Brook Lopez.

For trading Antetokounmpo and Lopez, the Bucks hypothetically receive Green, Wiggins, and four 1st round picks, including the No. 2 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

The Warriors obviously win the trade from a pure talent perspective, but this is a nice haul for Milwaukee considering Antetokounmpo has just one year left on his contract.
