The path forward isn’t always obvious. Sometimes, it takes good vision to see it. NBA front offices need to have that vision.
Some teams are contending, and others are rebuilding. Meanwhile, some teams exist somewhere in between those extremes. They’ll need that vision to find their way.
For example, look at the Brooklyn Nets. This team isn’t in a bad situation. They’ve got a platoon of quality defensive players and considerable draft capital. By contrast, they don’t have an offensive star.
On the other hand, the Atlanta Hawks do. Still, this situation is unstable.
The Hawks are hoping that their recent hiring of Quinn Snyder will turn around what’s been a disappointing 2022-23 season so far.
If it doesn’t, could they acquire Mikal Bridges from the Nets?
