1. Phoenix Suns
The Phoenix Suns have been involved in a bunch of trade rumors this offseason, but have not been able to hammer out a deal yet. Rumors have persisted involving the team with just a few days remaining before the regular season gets underway.
The Suns have made virtually no changes to their rotation this offseason, which is a bit concerning.
The team had a meltdown in the second round of the 2022 NBA Postseason against the Dallas Mavericks after cruising through the regular season with the best record in the league. While they have remained idle, the other teams in the conference have improved as well.
If anything, the Suns currently have a worse rotation than they did when the playoffs ended. Jae Crowder is not currently with the team as he awaits a trade. The Suns now have another hole on what was already a shaky bench with Cam Johnson stepping into the starting five.

That hole could be filled partly by acquiring Jordan Clarkson. Phoenix was middle of the road and slightly below average in most bench stats last season and Clarkson would help boost those numbers.
The biggest asset he would bring to the team is his shot creation. The team lacked players who could create offense outside of Devin Booker and Chris Paul. That cost them against the Mavericks, as Dallas dared other players to beat them and they were unable to do so.

Clarkson would provide them with that offensive punch that they are missing, helping balance out the lineup with his scoring prowess.
