Jordan Clarkson, Utah Jazz, NBA Trade Rumors
NBA Analysis Network

This NBA offseason signaled the end of an era for the Utah Jazz. They have been one of the best teams in the regular season consistently for the last six seasons, but they decided that changes needed to be made this offseason and they shook everything up from the top down.

Danny Ainge joined the front office during the 2021-22 season and wasted little time making changes once they were knocked out of the playoffs. Head coach Quin Synder stepped down and was replaced by Will Hardy, an assistant with the Boston Celtics. After that, the roster was overhauled.

Royce O’Neale, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic were traded from last season’s team. Patrick Beverley, who was acquired in the Gobert blockbuster from the Minnesota Timberwolves was flipped to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Just days away from the regular season, the Jazz remain a team mentioned in trade rumors. There are a few more veterans that could be on the move including explosive scoring guard, Jordan Clarkson.

Clarkson won the Sixth Man of the Year award for the 2020-21 season when he averaged 18.4 points per game off the bench. He continued filling it up last season, averaging 16 points per game to go along with 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

Likely heading toward free agency in 2023, as he possesses a player option for the 2023-24 campaign, Clarkson is someone that the Jazz could flip for more future assets should they receive an offer to their liking.

Who could look to acquire him? Here are three last-minute trade destinations for Clarkson before the regular season gets underway.
