3. Chicago Bulls
The Chicago Bulls suffered a major blow already and the season hasn’t even gotten underway. They will be without starting point guard Lonzo Ball for multiple weeks, possibly months, as he underwent another procedure on his ailing knee.
Ball first injured his knee back in January and underwent surgery on his meniscus. It was a 4-6 week timetable to return, but he ended up missing the remainder of the season.
Things didn’t get better over the course of the offseason, as everyday activities such as walking up and down stairs pained him.
Set to be without him, the Bulls could use some reinforcements on the second unit. Ayo Dosunmu will be stepping into the starting lineup, leaving a void coming off the bench.

Veteran Goran Dragic was brought in this offseason to bolster the depth, but Chicago had the second-lowest-scoring bench in the NBA last season.
Inserting Jordan Clarkson into the mix would jump-start the bench and also provide some more depth at the point guard position in case Ball is unable to return this season.

The Bulls were over-reliant on Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan to score the ball last season as well. Clarkson would help alleviate some of the pressure on them as another player capable of creating offense.
