Donovan Mitchell
Best Destinations: New York Knicks, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings
Obviously, we had to start here. Mitchell should be the first in a series of dominos to fall in Salt Lake City.
Don’t expect the Jazz to trade him for pennies-on-the-dollar. Mitchell has issued no public trade request. This isn’t a distressed asset: it’s a young, in-prime superstar. If (when?) Utah does trade him, expect the sort of return that gets their rebuild started on the right foot.
Bojan Bogdanovic
Best Destinations: Philadelphia 76ers, Dallas Mavericks, Chicago Bulls
Bojan Bogdanovic may not be the same type of household name, but he’s capable of giving his team star-level production. He simply doesn’t do it on a nightly basis. Bogdanovic often prefers to simply space the floor for his starrier teammates, and he does that at an elite level.
Still, on a night where his team is shorthanded, don’t rule out his ability to create his own shot either. Any contender would be lucky to have him.

Mike Conley
Best Destinations: Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans
Arguably, Conley is likely to make a bigger on-court impact for his next team than Bogdanovic is. That doesn’t mean he has more trade value.
All told, Conley is a little older, a little more expensive, and his deal runs for an extra year. He’s not a top-end trade chip. Still, some point guard needy contender would be lucky to add him. Conley’s basketball IQ and floor-spacing ought to continue aging well.
