Sacramento Kings
Rumors have been running rampant about the Sacramento Kings, who hold the No. 4 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. They have been listening to trade offers for the pick, but as of right now are becoming increasingly more comfortable keeping the pick. At this point in time, the Kings are planning to use that selection on either Jaden Ivey or Keegan Murray.
Among the teams that have shown interest in trading up to No. 4 overall are the Pacers, Knicks, Grizzlies, Pistons, and Wizards.
One note to make about the Kings’ trading the No. 4 pick is that they have had serious discussions with the Pacers for that selection. However, Sacramento seemed to want Chris Duarte, Indiana’s first-round pick last year, as part of the return package. Indiana has not shown a willingness to make that move yet.
All of the teams looking to trade up for the No. 4 pick seem to be doing so with the idea of drafting Purdue’s Ivey with that selection. The Kings, on the other hand, are leaning towards taking Murray with the pick, although that could change as the week progresses.

While the Kings are open for business, they are more than happy to keep the pick. It will take a lot in return to force Sacramento to pull the trigger on trading the No. 4 overall pick.
