John Collins
Another big man that has come up quite often in trade rumors is Atlanta Hawks’ forward John Collins. According to a report from Marc Stein, it is “expected” that Collins will be moved this offseason.
There have been other reports about the Hawks having trade discussions involving Clint Capela, but his relationship with Trae Young makes a deal unlikely. So, whether it’s Collins or Capela leaving town, it is likely that Atlanta will make a sizable move involving at least one of them.
Collins is coming off of a season with the Hawks that saw him average 16.2 points per game to go along with 7.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.0 blocks. He shot 52.6 percent from the floor overall and knocked down 36.4 percent of his three-point attempts.
Looking around the NBA, there are quite a few teams who could use a forward who can put up that kind of production. The Hawks will have no shortage of trade options if they seriously look to move Collins.
