Myles Turner

When it comes to Myles Turner, the Indiana Pacers have made it clear to the league that he is available for the right price. Most rumors have been focused on the Charlotte Hornets, who have long had an interest in acquiring Turner from Indiana. However, three other teams with interest are the San Antonio Spurs, Toronto Raptors, and Portland Trail Blazers.

Turner has been a popular commodity on the trade market for the past few offseason periods. But, the Pacers have opted to keep him in town.

The main reason for trading him at this point in time would be the fact that Turner will become a free agent next offseason. If the Pacers don’t want to pay the price to keep him or Turner isn’t willing to sign an extension right now, a trade could very well be the next move to make.

Portland was a team that had heavy interest in Myles Turner ahead of the NBA trade deadline last year. Turner’s foot injury ended those talks. The two sides could re-engage in discussions.
