This team was supposed to be a world-beater. The trio of Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving was supposed to storm their way to the NBA Finals. Instead, they’re watching them from home.

Harden isn’t even doing so as a Brooklyn Net. He forced a midseason trade to the Philadelphia 76ers. Rumors suggest that it had something to do with Kyrie Irving’s frequent absences. The team seems to recognize that problem as well.

Apparently, they’re hesitant to offer Irving a long-term extension for that very reason. Unfortunately, rumors also suggest that if they don’t, Kevin Durant will ask out of town.
