Golden State Warriors Receive: C Myles Turner
Indiana Pacers Receive: C James Wiseman, G Moses Moody

This first trade idea is one that would benefit both teams based on the current paths they are on. The Golden State Warriors are looking to win championships as long as Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green are on the roster. The Indiana Pacers are looking to continue the rebuild.

Golden State could need to find a new starting center this offseason should Kevon Looney depart in free agency. Myles Turner would be an excellent replacement for him, especially if the foot injury that knocked him out of the second half of the 2021-22 season is behind him.

Indiana was looking for some combination of multiple first-round picks for young players in a deal for Turner. Given the injury, this trade package should suffice.

James Wiseman and Moses Moody are both lottery picks from the last two drafts that will be afforded the chance to play and develop in Indiana they may not be with the Warriors.

To complete this deal and make it work monetarily, the Warriors would have to renounce some of the free-agent cap holds they have. Wiseman and Moody are just about $1.3 million short of making this a legal trade, so Golden State would have to do some finagling with the salary cap to make it official.

If not, another player will have to be included in the deal heading to Indiana to make up the difference.
