The Indiana Pacers are in the midst of what could be considered the first rebuild in franchise history under the ownership led by Herb Simon. It is something they have been hesitant about doing in the past, but they accepted the reality of where the roster was during the 2021-22 NBA season and knew a change had to be made.

The rebuild started ahead of the trade deadline when they completed deals involving Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert. Sabonis was sent to the Sacramento Kings and LeVert headed to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

There are still some veterans on the roster that could be on the move this offseason in Myles Turner, Buddy Hield, and Malcolm Brogdon. Of the three, it sounds as if Brogdon is the likeliest to be on the move.

In trades for those three, Indiana will be looking to acquire some more building blocks for the future, just as they landed Tyrese Haliburton in the deal for Sabonis. One player that could catch their eye is James Wiseman of the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State is a team that could look to the trade market this offseason to fill a potential few gaps on the roster. They have some good trade chips, such as James Wiseman. Wiseman was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft but has spent more time sidelined than on the court this far in his career.

He is someone that would fit the current plan the Pacers are executing. What could it take to get him? Here are three trade ideas that could be kicked around by the teams.
