Domantas Sabonis and Caris LeVert were traded at the deadline. Had he not injured his foot, Myles Turner likely would have been on the move as well. Malcolm Brogdon is a popular trade candidate this offseason and Buddy Hield could be on the move as well.
With that assortment of veterans, the Pacers should explore the possibility of moving up in the draft. They came into the draft hoping to have a chance to select one of the top players, but ended up moving down a spot and will be selecting sixth overall.
While they can still nab an impact player at that spot, they won’t have a chance to select one of the top-tier prospects.
