Victor Oladipo

There’s no denying it: going from Zach LaVine to Victor Oladipo would be a downgrade. LaVine is one of the best shooting guards in the NBA: upgrading from him will prove a difficult task.

Still, the Chicago Bulls could stay competitive with Dipo on the roster. He’ll probably never return to his pre-injury heights, but he’s still good for 12 to 15 points per game, solid defense, and tertiary playmaking.

He even shot 41.7% from long range over 8 games with the Heat this year. OK, fine: that’s a small sample size. Still, we know Oladipo is capable of performing at a high level.

A pivot from LaVine to Oladipo would grant even more offensive responsibility to DeMar DeRozan. He’s coming off a career year, but at his age, he could also be due for a decline.
