T.J. Warren
Unlike the other players listed here, TJ Warren isn’t an off-guard. He’s not a direct LaVine replacement. On the other hand, besides Mitchell, he may have the best shot at replacing his production.
The last time we saw Warren healthy, he played 67 games for the Indiana Pacers in 2019-20. He averaged 19.8 points per game on a blistering 61.0% True Shooting % (TS%).
Of course, there’s a catch: the last time we saw Warren healthy, it was 2019-20. He’s been off the floor for the better part of two years. We don’t know if he’s the same player, or if his injury problems won’t spoil his career.
That makes him a higher risk/reward proposition than any of the other players listed here. Still, if the Chicago Bulls can stomach the risk, it could pay off in a big way. Warren can function both as a complementary off-ball weapon and a secondary shot creator when his number is called. That kind of offensive versatility is hard to come by.
