Myles Turner

It feels like it has been years and years since the “Myles Turner is on the block” rumors began. Can someone put the big man out of his misery and get a deal done?

The Pacers were able to unload Sabonis at the deadline but did not find a partner for Turner, who was thought to be the biggest trade piece for the team. He has turned into one of the best rim protectors in the league. He has averaged over two blocks per game in each of the last four seasons. This includes leading the league over the last two years with 3.4 and 2.8 blocks.

Turner is on the brink of being a young player but is also considered a veteran. At 26 years old, he has plenty of experience but is entering his prime. Turner can rebound on both ends and has an offensive game that would only be improved on a better team.

Turner has one year left on his contract, where he will be paid $17.5 million. When Turner is traded, he will likely receive a contract extension. This gives the Pacers a timeline of when to move their big man.
