Donte DiVincenzo struggled with injuries after eventually becoming a starter for the Milwaukee Bucks. This led to a trade to Sacramento, where DiVincenzo became skeptical of the plans of the organization.

DiVincenzo played 25 games for the Kings and saw his minutes grow to 26.6 per game. He shot 36.8% from three-point range during his time in Sacramento while scoring 10.3 points per night.

Once the season ended, DiVincenzo and his team claimed that the Kings were manipulating minutes and starts for players that would not allow them to receive bonuses.

The Kings have been in a rocky place for years now and this is not a good tag to have with the front office. Because of these claims, whether true or not, DiVincenzo could request a trade. Sacramento would be wise to grant it. It should not want that rumor associated with the reputation of the team.

In a trade, a team would be getting a rock-solid role player in DiVincenzo. He comes from a winning program at Villanova and has translated that toughness to the next level. He has shown his ability to start and play big minutes while knocking down shots from deep. There will be multiple teams interested in the shooting guard if he is made available.
