Will We See Any Big Returns In Postseason?

There were a lot of star-level players that didn’t appear in games during the 2021-22 regular season. Some of those players have a chance of coming back during the postseason, which creates plenty of headlines to be discussed.

Will we see Ben Simmons suit up for the Brooklyn Nets for the first time during the playoffs? There is a chance that he makes his debut during their first-round series against the Boston Celtics. The Celtics are also waiting on an injured player to return in Robert Williams III.

The LA Clippers have their work cut out for them in the Play-In Game with Paul George testing positive for COVID. Should they defeat the New Orleans Pelicans, could we see Kawhi Leonard back on the court? The Pelicans have their own All-Star that hasn’t been ruled out for a postseason return in Zion Williamson as well.

The Denver Nuggets could also get some reinforcements. Jamal Murray is almost a year removed from when he tore his ACL and has been ramping up his rehab. Michael Porter Jr. missed all but nine games this season after undergoing another back procedure and there is a chance he returns as he is ramping up activities as well.
