Cleveland Cavaliers
One of the biggest “surprise stories” of the season has been the success of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Entering the 2021-22 season, the Cavaliers were not expected to be anywhere close to a playoff contending team, but they have won 39 games thus far and are currently the 6-seed in the Eastern Conference.
Cleveland is not expected to go far in the playoffs, but this young group has shown a ton of resilience this season and have a very bright future ahead of them led by two young All-Stars in Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen.
With Collin Sexton’s return being a question mark, Cleveland may have a little bit of cap space to play around with in free agency this year and bringing in TJ Warren on the wing would be a very strong move for this franchise to make.

Cleveland needs some more talent on the wing and signing Warren to a smaller one or two year contract that could possibly fit into the mid-level exception would work wonders for the Cavaliers’ chances of making the playoffs during the 2022-23 season and building themselves into a real threat.
Prior to his injury, T.J. Warren was coming into his own as a two-way star on the wing and with the Cavaliers already having Garland, Allen, Mobley and LeVert, Warren could ease his way back into a big role with the Cavaliers off-the-bench.
