Minnesota Timberwolves
Similar to the Cavaliers, the Timberwolves have been a surprising success story this NBA season and their future is very bright in the Western Conference.
Led by Karl-Anthony Towns, D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves are going to be a problem for many years to come and they are only going to get better, as they find themselves as one of the younger teams in the league.
Minnesota will be going to the playoffs this year for the first-time since 2018, but something is missing on this roster right now.
Towns can only do so much for them and while Edwards has been having a stellar second season in the league, the Timberwolves need to add depth on the wing.

It is hard to pinpoint reliable scorers on this roster outside of their “Big 3” and for Minnesota to elevate themselves into the same conversation as teams like the Jazz and Grizzlies, they will need to be aggressive in free agency.
They may not have room for another max-level player, but with Josh Okogie being a free agent, the Timberwolves could replace him with someone like TJ Warren on a reasonable, two-year, $20 million to $24 million deal.

Warren could still continue to be a high-level, two-way player with the Timberwolves and he could really prove his worth by helping a team that is on the rise in the Western Conference.
The Timberwolves will have some potential money to play around with in the offseason and do have a need for more wing scoring, which is why taking a chance on Warren could make sense.
