1. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Figuring out what the Oklahoma City Thunder’s plans are for the future is not easy. They agreed to a max rookie extension with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but he was someone they reportedly made available during the 2021 NBA Draft to try and move up the board.
Sam Presti is enamored with gathering draft picks, seemingly more interested in them than players to have on the court. There hasn’t been any indication that they want to move SGA since, but given the recent history of the team, it cannot be written off completely.
If the Golden State Warriors want to shake things up and upgrade their backcourt, they could build a strong offer for Gilgeous-Alexander around James Wiseman. They also have Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody, lottery picks from the 2021 NBA Draft, that can be included as well.
Acquiring Gilgeous-Alexander would put the franchise in good hands when it comes to the point guard position once Curry rides off into the sunset and retires. He has struggled at times with his efficiency in Oklahoma City, but as the sole offensive creator, defenses game plan to stop him, daring his teammates to make plays.

Steve Kerr would have to get creative with his roster alignments, as the frontcourt would once again be lacking. But a lineup of Curry, Gilgeous-Alexander, Thompson, Andrew Wiggins, and Green would be a handful for opponents to deal with.
