3. Karl-Anthony Towns
This is admittedly a long-shot scenario, which is why it lands at No. 3 on the list. The Minnesota Timberwolves are playing their best basketball in years, but it would still make sense for the Golden State Warriors to at least check in on a deal centered around Karl-Anthony Towns.
Towns is one of the best offensive centers in the NBA, possessing seemingly unlimited range with his jump shot. He has proclaimed himself the best shooting big man in the history of the league, which he backed up by winning the 3-point contest at All-Star Weekend.
Acquiring Towns would keep the Warriors’ title window open for years, as he could be the centerpiece of their next core should they acquire him from the Timberwolves. But, that will likely prove to be a tall task.
Minnesota is 32-28 on the season, proving they are a playoff team when everyone on the roster is healthy. Towns, Anthony Edwards and D’Angelo Russell are a strong trio to build around and they are a team on the up and up.

It is highly unlikely that they would break up that core, but it is still worthwhile for Golden State to do their due diligence. Towns would provide a lot of what they are missing in the frontcourt.
