Grant would fit into the small forward position for a team that locked down their core this offseason. Tim Hardaway Jr. also re-signed with the Mavericks.
Grant would provide a spark in the frontcourt, along with Kristaps Porzingis. He would not provide the offensive numbers he is currently in Detroit but the Dallas Mavericks would not require this. That is the beauty about the fit here.
Doncic runs the show and Grant would act as another weapon on both ends of the floor. When double teams start coming to Doncic, Grant is a threat to put the ball on the floor to get to the rim.
