The Los Angeles Lakers have bene linked to many big names and it would not be a surprise to see Grant being the one they land. He would fit into the rotation of a team looking to win now and this is the Lakers right away.

Los Angeles has some assets they would be able to send and already have made an offer but the Detroit Pistons were reportedly not interested, but could things change?. The Lakers would be able to send the $9.5 million contract of Talen Horton-Tucker and $5 million of Kendrick Nunn back in the deal to clear salary.

Grant is eligible for a four-year, $112 extension this offseason. This is a number he will reach because of the stats he has been able to put up in recent years. This could ward off some potential suitors—making the Lakers’ offer one to hold onto and perhaps circle back to.

During his time in Detroit, Grant has upped his value and this will help his contract situation. This would provide the necessary space to add Grant. This would go along with some draft picks they could throw in.
