Chicago Bulls Receive: F Harrison Barnes
Sacramento Kings Receive: G Coby White, F Derrick Jones Jr., F Troy Brown Jr., 2026 First-Round Pick
This trade would give the Chicago Bulls a full-time starting power forward to add to their lineup.
Javonte Green has filled that role this season and done a bang-up job. But there’s no question that Harrison Barnes would be a massive upgrade at the position.
Barnes got off to an extremely hot start this season but has since cooled off a bit. He’s averaging 16.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 2.4 assists this season while shooting 45.0 percent from the field and 41.1 percent from three-point range.
Meanwhile, Chicago would be giving up three younger players in this deal, the biggest of them being Coby White. He just returned from an injury recently and has been playing fairly well for the Bulls. He’s averaging just over 10 points a night.

Derrick Jones Jr is currently injured. and Troy Brown Jr. play less than 20 minutes for the Bulls this year. Neither has been a focal point in the rotation, so trading them away for a bonafide NBA starter shouldn’t be a problem for the Bulls. They would mostly be included for salary matching purposes.
That being said, Chicago has been getting by, in large part, due to its depth. And for the Sacramento Kings, would they want to trade away one of their most consistent pieces? Why would both teams make this deal?
