Would this trade make sense for the Chicago Bulls?
For the Chicago Bulls, as mentioned, this would bring a full-time starter to the team. Harrison Barnes would slot in at the power forward position, replacing what the Bulls lost in Patrick Williams, and acting as a huge upgrade over Javonte Green.
The starting lineup of Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, Barnes, and Nikola Vucevic is good enough to compete with any other team in the league. This is especially true when considering how good the Bulls have already been this season.
Barnes would help take some of the load off of LaVine and DeRozan. Not only would he be another floor spacer to help give them more space, but he’s a big-time shot-maker. He’s already hit multiple game-winners for the Sacramento Kings this season. (Although DeRozan already seems to be the clear choice as the closer for Chicago.)
Losing Coby White may be hard to deal with for some Bulls fans. He still has a ton of potential and is just getting back from his injury. But that’s the price of quality starters in the NBA nowadays. Barnes would 100 percent raise the ceiling of this Bulls team.

Adding Harrison Barnes would help cement the Bulls as a true title contender. However, would the Kings be willing to give him up for this package? Why should they be interested in giving up Barnes?
