Worst Trade Destinations No. 1: Atlanta Hawks
The Atlanta Hawks are looking to cement themselves among the upper echelon in the Eastern Conference. They are a deep team across the board with a lot of young talented players that could look to eventually consolidate their roster.
They have been one of the teams loosely connected to the Sacramento Kings when it comes to Buddy Hield. While the Hawks were a surprisingly low 3-point volume team last season, they aren’t the best landing spot for Hield.
Hield would face intense competition for playing time were he to be traded to Atlanta. Given his shortcomings defensively, he could see his playing time wane, especially if a player emerged that could get stops for the team.
He would be competing with Bogdan Bogdanovic, Kevin Huerter, Lou Williams, and Delon Wright for minutes in the backcourt. Things are just as daunting on the wings, as some of the aforementioned players pick up minutes there and you can add Cam Reddish and Solomon Hill to the mix as well.

There is a chance at least one of them is included in the package for Buddy Hield, but there would be a huge logjam for minutes that would be tough for Hield to navigate.
