1. Detroit Pistons trade Jerami Grant before the deadline

There were plenty of trade rumors surrounding big names this NBA offseason. In fact, with Ben Simmons remaining with the Philadelphia 76ers to begin the season, that still stands.

The Detroit Pistons have not made that big move and it is unlikely that one gets done prior to the start of the regular season. However, there will be a chance to move Jerami Grant at the NBA trade deadline in a deal that brings in no shortage of value in return.

Grant signed a three-year deal with the Pistons last offseason. He put up the best statistical season of his career and there is plenty of value around his name. Could Detroit take advantage to further the team’s rebuild?

Grant might not be part of the long-term plan for Detroit and he would benefit them more from being moved in a trade. There are plenty of win-now teams that would take Jerami Grant in a trade because of what he could bring on both ends of the floor.
