Portland Trail Blazers Receive: C Marc Gasol
Los Angeles Lakers Receive: POR 2026 2nd Round Pick (Top-35 Protected)
Marc Gasol signed a two-year deal with the Lakers last offseason. This was a short-term deal where he expected to be the starting center, but things have changed a bit over time.
With that being said, Gasol would be the name going back to Portland in this particular trade.
With his current age and contract situation, Gasol will not warrant a huge return in a deal. The Lakers would take a second-round pick in 2026 in return for their veteran center.
The Lakers are expected to sign DeAndre Jordan at some point in the near future. As a result, there’s not really a need to keep Gasol around in Los Angeles.
