Would this trade make sense fo rthe Sacramento Kings?

Marc Gasol could be interested in a team where he is going to get consistent playing time. In Sacramento, he would be a welcome addition and not have a ton of pressure. This is a chance for the Sacramento Kings to add a veteran to the lineup to help the next generation.

At this point, it is unknown what the Kings are going to do moving forward. Players in the frontcourt such as Richaun Holmes and Marvin Bagley III have been featured in NBA trade rumors since the beginning of the offseason.

Nothing has been done just yet and Sacramento has kept things relatively quiet. They would not have to move any piece in this deal but if they acquired Gasol, it is likely that the frontcourt will look a bit different heading into next season.

This is not a move that will get the Kings any closer to the postseason but it is one where they can add a veteran and potentially flip him in another trade moving forward. Perhaps he could help add depth and help the locker room culture.
