Does this trade makes sense for the Dallas Mavericks?
Re-signing Tim Hardaway Jr. was a top priority for the Dallas Mavericks and they wasted no time in NBA free agency. Now that the deal is done, Dallas could have their sights set on some other moves to help the team keep rising in the Western Conference.
The front office needs to look where they need the most help and what players would complement Luka Doncic best.
TJ Warren could be one of those players because of his raw ability to put the ball in the basket. He can score from all three levels and is valuable at either forward position given his quickness and strength at 6-foot-8.
This is a chance for the Mavericks to continue to display a high-powered offense in hopes of remaining in contention with some of the other top teams in the league. The Mavericks have plenty to worry about this offseason so it will be interesting to see which direction they take on the trading block.

Porzingis could be a trade option, along with other names they could be looking to acquire. The Mavericks will have to value players in a different way so will be interesting to see how the front office decides to move forward.
