The Los Angeles Clippers and their point guards have been an issue over recent NBA seasons. This has been a priority for the team and they could still be searching for some depth this offseason. If that is the case, the Toronto Raptors could have an intriguing veteran to send away.

The Clippers have made moves to keep their core in place. Kawhi Leonard plans to re-sign with the team this offseason. This was never in doubt since his plan has been out for a while now. Los Angeles also retained Reggie Jackson, who was a huge piece during the Clippers’ run to the Western Conference Finals.

It was another disappointing finish to the season for the Clippers but they were still able to make some noise with Leonard on the bench. He suffered an injury in the postseason and Paul George was able to step up and turn in some big performances. With that being said, Los Angeles could still be interested in adding some depth.

Toronto could have a fit for the Clippers if they want some veteran help off the bench. Goran Dragic joined the Raptors this offseason but he has not been viewed as a long-term piece. It has been said that the Raptors will not buyout Dragic this offseason but a trade could still be on the table.

The setup here is perfect. Toronto is coming off an underwhelming season and there could be plenty of options, including trading Pascal SIakam.

It will be interesting to see if the Clippers look to add some more depth, even after bringing back Jackson. Here is a potential deal between Los Angeles and Toronto this offseason.
